Ben Hingeley joins Fortec for EF Open debut at Silverstone

Briton Hingeley will make his Euroformula debut at his home round

Great Britain’s Ben Hingeley is set to make his Euroformula Open debut at Silverstone on 2-3 September joining Fortec Motorsports to drive one of their Dallara-built cars. Hingeley, aged 20, has achieved three wins and a further 7 podiums results in the UK prior to his Euroformula Open debut. More recently, he has become a BRDC Rising Star.

“I´m excited to race the Euroformula Open car at Silverstone. My sponsor Mr. Paul Rooney of Thakeham has decided to allow me to do the event to prove my talent in the series. Besides, I’ve been recognised by the BRDC Rising Star Programme and I will wear the badge with pride. This is such a significant moment in my career”, said Hingeley.
