The 16-year-old driver will join the field at Monza next weekend

BVM Racing has confirmed the addition of Chinese Daniel Lu to their driver lineup at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza next weekend and the Circuito de Jerez in two weeks' time. Born on May 9 2001 in Shanghai, Lu is another young talent joining the Euroformula Open and despite his youth he can look back at a long list of achievements. Next weekend’s Euroformula Open newcomer ranked second in the 2017 Asia Formula Renault Series – Class A with three wins and six podiums to his name. Besides, Daniel also scored six wins and ten podiums in the 2017 Formula Masters Asian Series.

BVM Racing will enter two Dallara F312 cars as Russia’s Daniil Pronenko will be back on track after absence at Silverstone.
