The Dutch ace will make his debut in the Formula 3-based series this year
Teo Martín Motorsport has announced that they have signed Bent Viscaal for a full-season campaign in the Euroformula Open. Netherlands’ Viscaal claimed German Junior Karting and Dutch Mini Karting titles and then moving into singleseaters in 2017. In his first year, Viscaal scored 8 race wins, 20 podiums, 2 pole positions and 9 fastest laps in the SMP F4 NEZ and 2017 Spanish F4, in which he also ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively.
"I’m very happy and honored to join the Teo Martín Motorsports family for the 2018 season. I want to thank my family and Dutch Autosport Federation for their inconditional support helping in this new adventure. It will be my first season in Formula 3 but I’m sure we can achieve great things together as our chemistry is great!" said Viscaal.
Teo Martín, CEO of Teo Martín Motorsport, added: "Bent impressed all of us from the first moment he drove the car. He has shown in just one year in single-seaters that his talent and progression have no limits. I'm delighted to have him as part of the team and I'm pretty sure that he will be fast from the beggining with the Formula 3. We will work hard and put all our tools at his disposal to achieve great things together".
