Euroformula Open drivers explain Hungaroring races in their own words:

Felipe Drugovich (RP Motorsport): “What can I say? Another amazing weekend in Hungary! Two new wins! Thanks RP Motorsport for all the hard work. Summer break for now!”

Bent Viscaal (Teo Martín Motorsport): “P2 in race 2 and best rookie! Big thanks to Teo Martín Motorsport!”

Matheus Iorio (Carlin): “Hungary brought us good points for the championship with 4th and 5th places in the races this weekend! Next round only in two months at Silverstone… let’s keep working to come back stronger!”

Marcos Siebert (Campos Racing): “Back in action, back on the podium. P3 in the first race and another podium on Sunday. We’re still in contention in the championships!”

Cameron Das (Carlin): “Finished top 5 in Budapest on Saturday and P4 in today’s race. Huge thanks to the Carlin Racing team and DTM driver Jamie Green for coaching me this weekend!”

Lukas Dunner (Drivex): “I’m supper happy about our speed, we really did a big step forward. I was up to speed from the first session on, already on Thursday. I now have to focus on getting much more racecraft, at the moment my weakest point against much more experienced and older guys. Already looking forward to the next GP track at Silverstone, preparations starts now!”

Christian Hahn (Drivex): “Awesome weekend at the Hungaroring, got taken out in Race 1 and was trying to overtake for P5 during most of Race 2 but congrats to the guy in front who made no mistakes. I finished P7 but I couldn’t be happier with our evolution. Let´s keep pushing!”

Aldo Festante (Fortec): “I don’t know how to describe my weekend. I’m not happy with my performance and the summer break will help me to analyze and reflect for the future.”

Calan Williams (Fortec): “6th place from P11 on the grid! Great race with some really good overtaking battles! Car was fantastic.”

Yves Baltas (Campos Racing): “Put some amazing laps in at Hungaroring. Qualified P3 and although had a drive through penalty, we fought back to finish P7 (P2 rookie). On to Silverstone circuit!”
