Motopark commits to five cars for Euroformula’s Silverstone visit

Motopark will grow its Euroformula Open line-up to five cars for next weekend’s Silverstone round, the first since the summer break.

German squad Motopark is new to the Euroformula this year, and has usually ran four cars. but expanded to five Dallaras on occasion.

Championship leader Marino Sato, winner of eight of the 12 races held so far this year and set to make swift progress up the single-seater ladder due to his Euroformula success, will seek to extend his points advantage.

Alongside him will be American racer Cameron Das, a recent signing of the team, aiming for his first podium finish of the 2019 season.

A trio of young and rising talents, including one Red Bull Junior-backed driver,  will fill Motopark’s other three cars, all picking the Euroformula to make their European Formula 3 debuts.

Their names will be announced very shortly.
