Private testing activity is intense since Monday at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya, in perfect weather and track conditions, as a number of Euroformula teams are in action to evaluate drivers ahead of the 2020 campaign.
Around 20 drivers have been alternating at the wheel of the different cars; names and lap times are not disclosed, as customary in this kind of tests.
EF reigning champion Motopark is the team with the largest number of cars in action (5), with Carlin being present with 3 cars, VAR with 2 and Fortec with one. Also present, with a Dallara F312, is Team Fox Racing, who is considering joining the series.
Three teams, Motopark, Fortec and VAR have confirmed they are taking delivery of their respective first unit of the new Dallara 320 this week.
The tests at Barcelona will continue until the end of the week, with most of the attending teams bound to Valencia, where they will be joined by Drivex, for more tests next week, the last before the Christmas break.
