Parth Ghorpade joins DAV Racing

India´s racer becomes latest addition to DAV Racing, the outfit lead by Matteo Davenia, and will make his debut in the Euroformula Open series at Red Bull Ring next weekend

DAV Racing has confirmed a new racer for its driver line-up in the Euroformula Open. The Indian driver Parth Ghorpade, who was born on August 20, 1993 in Kolhapur, will make his debut in the series at the Austrian event taking place at Red Bull Ring on 2-5 July. Ghorpade, first driver from India in the Euroformula Open, has a racing background in series such as the French F.4, the Formula Pilota China, the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps or the MRF Challenge. Ghorpade will team up with Italy´s Leonardo Pulcini, a competitive duo for Matteo Davenia´s team.

Ghorpade has carried out a two-day test with DAV Racing at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli earlier this week. Two other Italian squads of the Euroformula Open joined DAV Racing on the track: RP Motorsport and Corbetta Competizioni.
