Red Bull Junior Team member Jak Crawford will line up for Motopark in Euroformula this year as he steps up from Formula 4.
The 15-year-old American was the NACAM F4 title runner-up in 2019 and the ADAC F4 runner-up in 2020, which was his first year as a Formula 1 junior with Red Bull. He is the first of Motopark’s signings, and celebrates his 16th birthday on May 2 during the season-opening Euroformula round at Algarve International Circuit that is supporting F1’s Portuguese Grand Prix.
“I am happy and excited to join Motopark for the Euroformula 2021 season," said Crawford. "With the team's success in the past I am hopeful to continue the success and fight in the front for my rookie season. Preparations have already started and it looks to be a good year.”
Motopark, led by Timo Rumpfkeil, has won 16 races since joining Euroformula in 2019, and claimed 11 podiums last year when the series adopted the lightweight, halo-shod Dallara 320 car.
