CryptoTower Racing Team has made its second signing for the upcoming Euroformula season, adding Malaysian talent Nazim Azman to its line-up.
Azman is a graduate of the BRDC British Formula 3 championship, and has won four races over two seasons in the series. He’s also raced in Asia in Formula Masters China and MRF Challenge, and was a race-winner in Formula 4 at the start of his car racing career in Malaysia and Thailand.
“I am really looking forward to this year,” said Azman. “As I am racing in a different championship than previously, we have a new car with more aero than before so it will definitely be a challenge but testing has been great and I can’t wait for the year to get started. CryptoTower and Peak Performance Management definitely will give me the right package to fight right at the top of the field so I am excited to see what the year will bring.”
Fahmi Ilyas was the first Malaysian to race in Euroformula back in 2011, winning on his series debut, and Najiy Razak was the next in 2017, making Azman the third from his country to compete in the series.
During winter, Azman has gained test experience of the lightweight, halo-shod Dallara 320 used in Euroformula at circuits in Portugal and Spain, and he will join fellow British F3 graduate Louis Foster in CryptoTower’s line-up ahead of the season start at Algarve International Circuit on May 1-2.
