Euroformula Open teams are concluding today an intense three-day session of tests at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which started on Monday, with five teams involved and mainly aimed at testing potential drivers for the next season. Conditions were mixed over the three days and included periods of light rain.
Motopark and CryptoTower are jointly operating five cars at the wheel of which alternated a number of drivers.
Drivex is present with two cars, although one of the drivers foreseen to take part in the session is having trouble reaching Barcelona given the disruption of travel in Northern Europe caused by icy weather.
BVM Racing is present with his regular driver, Francesco Simonazzi, and VAR is taking part, also with one of its Dallara 320.
This will be the last big test session ahead of the Christmas break for most teams, at least on tracks included in the championship calendar.
In the meantime, several new teams are planning to join the series, with first announcements expected soon.
