Jakob Bergmeister joins Team Motopark

Team Motopark today announced a second driver for its line-up in the 2023 Euroformula Open: the new recruit is Germany’s Jakob Bergmeister.

The Solingen-born is 17 years old and belongs to a family very involved in motorsport, which provides now a third generation of racers. Jakob has a very successful kart career under his belt and just made his single-seater debut ivery recently, in the AUE F.4 series earlier this year.

Motopark Team Principal Timo Rumpfkeil commented: “I am very excited to welcome Jakob in the team. He is one of the most exciting karting talents from Germany for many years now and I am sure we will support him with all he needs to make his transition from karts to cars a real success.”

Jakob Bergmeister added: “I am really happy to do already the next step into Euroformula Open and I’m really thankful to get the chance to race with such a professional team. I can’t wait to start testing soon! Thanks a lot to FERA Sports Management to make it possible!”
