Bryce Aron took his second win in the Euroformula Open in dominant fashion in this morning’s Race 2 at the Hungaroring. The American driver of Motopark took no prisoners and mastered all events, using to perfection the pole position in the reversed grid.
“It was less stressful than mty maiden win at Spa”, he commented after the race that he won with an 8-second margin, “it’s never easy, especially at the start. But I kept my line and the car was simply perfect.”
Second, visiting the podium for the second consecutive time, was Josh Mason (CryptoTower). The Brit tried to pas Aron at the kick-off and in the first couple of corners and then defended strongly his po
sition from the attacks of Juju Noda (Noda racing) and championship leader Noel León (Motopark).
The Japanese girl had an outstanding performance, showing great pace and determination, and conquered her first overall podium, on top of Rookie honours. She was duly acclaimed by the crowd and the entire EFO community.
Francesco Simonazzi (BVM Racing) finished fourth ahead of local hero Benjamin Berta (CryptoTower) and Motopark’s Jakob Bergmeister.
They preceded Cian Shields (Motopark), who got stuck on the grid, and Vladimir Netusi (Effective Racing)l, who took Gold Cup honours despite spinning at mid-race, while Paolo Brajnik (NV Racing), feeling not well, didn’t take the start.
