Successful first shake-down for the Dallara 324 powered by Tom’s

10.02.2025

The new Dallara 324 powered by Tom’s engines that will equip the Euroformula Open from this season onwards has made its first shake-up last Friday on the Varano de’ Melegari track near the factory of the Italian constructor.

It was a BVM Racing car having that honour, with Francesco Simonazzi, who completed a dozen of laps without any hiccup in a cold afternoon. It was enough for the EF-experienced driver and reigning vice-champion to get a clear first impression: “The car really represents a step forward with respect to the 320, especially in the corners. There is also an improvement from the new engine and gearbox, you really feel a kick in the back when you call for power.”

Deliveries of the new car are continuing this week, after the four units delivered to Motopark, BVM Racing, NV Racing and STK Melnik last week.
